Google, Apple Settle Conspiracy Lawsuit
(April 25, 2014) Apple, Google, Intel Inc. and Adobe Systems Inc have agreed to pay $340 million to settle hiring conspiracy lawsuit
The top two technology companies in the world Apple and Google have agreed to settle once and for all the alleged hiring conspiracy lawsuit. The two companies besides two other top companies have agreed to pay as much as $324 million to settle the issue.
Reports suggest that the two companies' consent to agree to pay the fine was revealed in a court filing on March 24.
Four big multinational companies were in the line of fire for the alleged hiring accusations. This include besides Cupertino based Apple, search giant Google two other top tech companies including Intel Inc. and Adobe Systems Inc.
These companies were taken to task by tech workers in the year 2011. It was alleged by employees of the four top multinational corporations that these companies have wittingly conspired to abstain from hiring each other's employees as they don't want to start a salary war.
